David Vallejo Muñoz has 10 year-experience in the Solar Business Worldwide, and heading Solarig Japan since 2012. Achievements in Japan: (a) Development: > 40MW (b) EPC: 2,3MW built, 13.5 MW under construction and 20MW secured (c) O&M: 159MW operating and 65MW secured. Leading the Japanese O&M third party service offering international standards as PR and availability warranties. Nowadays, leading the expansion to the business to other APAC areas as well.
He was heading business of Solarig in Italy with >70 MW design, development, constructed and operative by Solarig subsidiaries. He is a member of the Solarig Steering Committee since 2009 involved in all the business development and strategic company decisions.
He is an entrepreneur spirit owning solar investments and advisory for some startups. Graduated in 2015 in the Executive MBA Instituto de Empresa (IE), top 10% performance. Fluently in English, Italian and Spanish. Regularly runner and travel devotee.

Ms Izumi Kaizuka is the manager of Research Division in RTS Corporation, a PV consulting company with more than 30 years history based in Tokyo. She has been Japan’s representative of Task 1, IEA PVPS since 2003 and one of the authors of IEA PVPS Trends Report. She has been conducting various research projects as a PV market and industry analyst for METI and other government organizations, research institutes and PV companies in Japan and overseas. She also regularly writes articles on PV market for professional magazines.

Mr.Takahashi has been working as a real estate appraiser since 1996. He is a Real Estat Transaction Specialist at JAREA (Japan Association of Real Estate Appraisars), where he is also a committee member. In 2002, Mr. Takahashi joined Shinsei Bank as a silent partner overseeing the investment business. Mr. Takahashi joined Takara Leben in 2014 and was later transferred to Takara Asset Management with a task to introduce Takara Leben’s Solar facilities in the infrastructure fund market. Takara Leben Infrastructure Fund, Inc. is scheduled to go public in the Tokyo Stock Exchange, on June 2 2016.

Mr. Martin Stein graduated from Durham University (BA) in 2003 and Cambridge University (MPhil) in 2004. Before joining Shinsei Bank in Tokyo in 2007, he was at ING Bank in London, working on M&A and leveraged buyouts (LBO). In both ING and Shinsei he has worked most of his career on leveraged buyout transactions for private equity sponsors. During 2012-14 he worked for Tokyo Star Bank in Tokyo. Currently with Shinsei he focuses on project finance in Japan (mainly solar PV), international project finance and LBO/M&A.

Professor Nishikawa is engaged in the research and development of topics related to renewable energy, notably solar power systems.
He currently focuses on the research of detection technology of PV systems' failure and optimization of the renewable energy installations in Showa Station (Antarctica).
He is a guest professor at the National Institute of Polar Research, Director of the Japan Solar Energy Association and Director of the Solar Energy Design Research Group.
He belongs to several associations such as The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan, Japan Solar Energy Association, Japan Society of Energy and Resources and The Institute of Electrical Installation Engineers of Japan.

In 2004 to 2006, he worked at Industrial Revitalization Division as a Economic and Industrial Policy Bureau. In 2006 to 2008, worked at Automobile Division as a Manufacturing Industries Bureau. In 2008 he went abroad to University of California, San Diego and studied Economics and International Politocs. In 2010 started to work at Finance Division as a Small and Medium Enterprise Agency and in 2013 to June 2015, he worked at Deputy Director of Personal Division as a Minister’s Secretariant.

In 2012 Yasushi joined SB Energy Corp. and was in charge of negotiations with landowners for mega solar projects in the business development dept. He became the general manager of the business planning dept. in 2014 and also became the general manager of business promotion dept. in 2015. Currently he is involved with not only solar projects but wind and biomass projects also.
SB Energy Corp. has constructed totally 360MW solar plant, and 48MW wind farm including under construction projects.
Since last year the company has launched an asset management services by taking advantage of their large portfolio in the renewable energy industry, and Yasushi leads the planning of this asset management service.

Martin is responsible for ensuring each project in GSSG Solar’s Japanese portfolio is designed and built to the highest quality and performance standards available. He evaluates the selection of each EPC partner and supplier while constantly optimizing the layout, structure, and electrical scheme of each design with an eye for long-term investment performance. In addition to standard design tools and optimization software, Martin relies heavily on the relationships and experiences he has built over his 20 years in the solar industry. He started his solar career analyzing the first HIT cells manufactured at Sanyo Solar in Hirakata-City, Japan. Later, he has served as a technical advisor to Intel Capital for photovoltaic investments, built the US PV engineering team for Siemens, and developed E.On’s PV engineering division in San Francisco. Prior to joining GSSG Solar, he oversaw the technical design, negotiation, and implementation of over 240 MW of PV plants in Japan for a leading IPP. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from FachHochschule Regensburg in Germany. He is fluent in German, Japanese, and his native English and conversational in a handful of other world languages.

Senior Analyst and Division Manager, Structured Finance Project & Asset Finace Division, Japan Credit Rating Agency, Ltd. Mr. Honda took the initiative in establishment of Project and Asset Finance Division at JCR. He is also currently one of the committee member on Market Creation for promoting Green Investment, Ministry of the Environment Government of Japan. Mr. Honda prior to joining JCR was a banker at Mitsui Bank(currently SMBC). He gained extensive experience, knowledge and insight in Japanese financial institutions, domestic project and asset finance such as Haneda airport international terminal PFI, ship finance, aircraft backed loan from over 15 years of working at JCR. Mr. Honda holds a Master of Arts in Economics from Chiba University and a Chartered Member of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan.
